Nathan's Baptism
Nathan was made a Christian today.
He was "sealed by the Holy Spirit in Baptism and marked as Christ's own forever".
And all God's people said, "AMEN".
Rob training our newest acolyte
Thanks Rob for years of faithful service as acolyte, Lem, and Men's Club Officer.
New Outdoor Benches
We have 5 lovey, new, outdoor benches. Most of them will be placed along the Walking/Meditation path by the Men's Club. This one is on the corner on the children's play area. Come sit, pray, walk or play, on our peaceful and lovely grounds at St. George's.
Anna found this flower on the Walking/Meditation Path today. Come spend some time there soon and take the time to look, really look at God's beautiful creation. It's all around us. We just have to notice and appreciate it....like Anna does.

Thank you to our Altar Guild for all of your hard work.
Today they were refilling the Pascal Candle

We're so blessed to announce that our own Louise Richards was honored for her ongoing ministry to SAFE Shelter, a local residential facility for battered women, in this Savannah Morning News Faith In Practice feature. Louise, we are so proud of you and SO blessed to have you as a member of St. George's and as a friend.
We have many great kids in our sunday school program and not enough helpers! Teaching experience is not necessary. If you are able to help out with this important ministry, please contact Claudia Griffis.
If you desire to give vestments or church adornments in memory or thanksgiving please speak with Father Parker about what might be needed or appropriate.
If you know of someone in hospital, at home or hospice that needs a visit, prayer or even simply a phone call, please let me know. New privacy regulations sometimes make finding someone in hospital difficult. A room number is always helpful. Don’t assume someone else has told me – call anyway.
Thanks Fr P+
Safeguarding God's Children is A training program in sexual abuse awareness for clergy, Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, vestry members, and others who work with minors in our churches. Thank you to all who have taken time out of your busy schedules to participate in this important course. If you have any questions about the information covered or would like to know when the next seminar will be scheduled, please contact Father Parker.
We look forward to hearing from you!
